I am a person who has always been passionate about being an advocate for others. I know what it’s like to feel like my voice doesn’t matter. After years of being bullied, I had someone advocate for me. That moment changed the trajectory of my life and taught me the impact an advocate can have. For me, my life as an advocate used to look a lot different. After graduating from law school, I worked in law for five years. During that time, I found myself anxious, depressed, and unwell. I knew that, for as much as I loved the subject, practicing advocacy in that way was not a sustainable option for my overall health.

These days, I love getting to advocate for my clients through coaching. When I work with individuals as a coach, I can relate to my clients because I have been there. I know the struggle of tackling fear, the difficulties on the road to finding your voice, and the joy of achieving what I once thought was impossible. With extensive training in coaching, meditation, conflict resolution, self-compassion, and grief literacy - I have developed a unique set of communication and listening skills. These skills not only make be a better advocate but also help me empower others to be an advocate for themselves.

Ready for another fun fact about me?

I have also completed the highest levels of improv training at Second City and iO Chicago. Through these classes I learned the beauty of “yes and”. I once had a teacher tell me, the “yes” is the acknowledgment of the situation and the “and” is where you get your power back. As a coach, I want to “yes and” your life and your goals. I want to work with you, excavate roadblocks, and help you as you daringly go where you haven’t been before!
